Before releasing their EP of originals, I Prevail decided to to announce themselves to the world with a cover song. The band picked Swift's "Blank Space."

Soon after it's release, the rocked out version of the pop song went viral.

Singer Brian Burkheiser, told the Lansing State Journal,

"When we released the Taylor Swift cover, we were thinking maybe we'd get 10,000 or 20,000 views, and it would help us get our name out there. If you had told me that we'd be at 9 million views now, I would have called you crazy."

The video now has almost 13 million views on YouTube.

I Prevail's EP Heart vs Mind is available on iTunes. The band will make a stop in GR in a few weeks, playing the Intersection August 22.
