Spring has yet to flash any real warmth yet in Grand Rapids, but the salmon are definitely jumping up the fish ladder in Fish Ladder Park near downtown.Driven by the urge to spawn, male salmon will overcome any hurdle to get where they need to go. YouTube user VinnieG posted these slow motion videos of the salmon heading upstream at Fish Ladder Park.

Nature is a beautiful thing. It's not quite as beautiful as me trying to do 30" box jumps at the gym, but it's close.
