Wait Until You See Michigan’s Biggest Pothole
Michigan roads are famous for their potholes and even though "Big Gretch" has been fixing the 'damn' roads and bridges, the mother of all potholes just showed up.
Michigan Pot Holes
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer said, "It's time to fix the damn roads," like her or not, she has lived up to her promise. I have seen more orange barrels and road crews during both of her terms, and not only are the roads getting fixed, but bridges have been repaired or rebuilt.

Every Michigan spring unveils potholes on the roads. This will never change in Michigan because of the extreme weather, ground freezing, heavy traffic, and heavy semi trucks.
Looks like that pothole will get to finish eating that tire. Michigan's temperatures fluctuate during the spring thaw, on top of significant rain and sometimes flooding, which weakens road pavement and causes potholes to be born. Poor drainage can bring more than potholes, even sinkholes big enough to swallow a car, but fortunately, those don't happen that often.

Check Out Michigan's Biggest Pot Hole
It is pothole season in Michigan. You may have a huge pothole you avoid on the way to work, but I bet it's nothing like the one I'm about to show you. The mother of all Michigan potholes formed early Friday morning around 1 a.m.
What happens when a pothole graduates? It becomes a sinkhole. I have to admit that is the biggest pothole I've ever seen in Michigan. That one is so big it could eat all 4 tires and your vehicle.
According to WOOD, this giant pothole/sinkhole occurred in Battle Creek and caused a road closure. Crews were working on a sewer repair on Riverside Drive, and part of the road collapsed, leaving a hole about 25 feet by 20 feet. Seeing the workers and the trucks in the background gives you an idea of how big this pothole is.

Luckily for Battle Creek drivers, the workers were there when it happened because at 1 a.m., this could have been disastrous.
