Grand Rapids' Van Andel Arena Ranked by Billboard Among World's Best Venues

According to Grand Rapids Business Journal, two Grand Rapids venues appear in Billboard’s worldwide mid-year charts, which rank top venues in terms of ticket sales from Nov. 1, 2021, through April 30, 2022.

Van Andel Arena, located downtown Grand Rapids at 130 Fulton St W., is ranked No. 5 worldwide and No. 3 in the U.S. for venues with a capacity of 10,001 - 15,000.

According to Billboard, Van Andel Arena has grossed $15,894,334 so far this year, with 216,948 total attendees at 34 shows.

Billboard Ranks Grand Rapids' DeVos Performance Hall Among World's Best Venues

DeVos Performance Hall, at 303 Monroe Ave NW downtown Grand Rapids is also on Billboard's list of top venues, ranking No. 8 and in the U.S. for venues with a capacity of 5,000 or less.

Billboard reports DeVos grossed $9,823,227 and brought in 126,169 attendees at 79 shows, according to Billboard, according to GRBJ.

Hamilton, Diana Krall, and the Free Beer and Hot Wings Live at Night Show were among the performances at DeVos Performance Hall November 2021 through April 2022.
