Tom Keifer Briefly Hospitalized in Pennsylvania After Pre-Show Collapse
Tom Keifer missed out on a show Saturday night (Oct. 14) in Warrendale, Pa., but is expected to be fine after being hospitalized for a period after collapsing prior to his scheduled performance.
The musician was set to play at Jergel's in Warrendale, but after the incident prior to the show it was determined that he would postpone the gig. According to a statement from the singer's publicist, Keifer was transported to a local hospital where he underwent tests and was kept overnight.
The doctors confirmed that the singer was in stable condition and believe the episode was brought on by heat exhaustion and severe dehydration. Keifer was given fluids and was expected to be released on Sunday (Oct. 15). Our best wishes to the singer for a speedy recovery.
