This Group Of Teens Drove a Golf Cart Down the Highway Like it Was a Good Idea

What do you get when you mix five teenagers, a golf cart, and a stretch of highway? Stupidity.

How far did they make it, you ask? 18 miles! Give them a detention.

But these weren't just some girls out on a joyride in one of their parents' golf carts. Oh no, WUSA-9 reports that the golf cart was stolen.

Where were the girls headed? Well, it turns out they were trying to get from Bowie, Maryland to Washington D.C. Why on a stolen golf cart? Because they missed their Lyft, of course.

WUSA-9 reports that all of the girls were later taken into custody and charged with stealing the golf cart from an apartment complex. All five of the girls were either 15 or 16 years old.
