The Top 10 Employers In Michigan Ranked

Forbes.com listed the best employers in each state and Michigan had a total of 39 companies that made the list.  Here are the top 10 in the state:

1. University of Michigan Health System
2. Grand Valley State University
3. Microsoft
4. Ford Motor
5. FedEx
6. Darden Restaurants
7. Henry Ford Health
8. Pfizer
9. Arconic
10. Kellogg

Forbes had 29 additional entries for Michigan's best employers with some notable companies being: General Motors (#11), DTE Energy (#19), Steelcase (#23), Quicken Loans (#27), Michigan State University (#32), Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Michigan (#34), Gordon Food Service (#36), Meijer (#39).

To determine the best employers, Forbes used data from Statista, who surveyed 50,000 workers from companies who had more than 500 employees and had them rate their likelihood to recommend their employer to another person.  You can read more about how they determined the list here.
