Some things are for sure. So, expect what’s supposed to be an intimate evening with the Trailer Park Boys to quickly go off the rails. Thursday, August 24 will never be the same again.

Live Nation Entertainment Inc.'s Ticketmaster announced it would adjust ticket prices based on consumer demand and will partner with MarketShare to help price its shows.  Looks like Ticketmaster will begin rolling out the flexible pricing later this year for major sporting events and concerts, and then for arts/theater at a later date...

To those who have been pissed off at high ticket prices to see your favorite bands, I have some good news for you.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch launched Foxtix in Australia to compete with Ticketmaster and Ticketek.  Could we have a new ticket provider in the U.S.  While I think more competition will lower fees, I'm not so sure the News Corp. leader will provide a better alternative...
