Today in West Grand Rapids, hundreds of Amway volunteers converged on Steepletown Preschool to help construct a new playground for the kids! They turned the undeveloped lot at the corner of Fifth and Muskegon NW into a family-friendly safe play space.
A new playground is set to be built on the west side of Grand Rapids on June 16. The playground is coming to the site of the former Pulaski Park. Volunteers are needed to help build the park and donations are needed to build a trail.

A Port St. Lucie, Fla., mother was arrested Saturday for letting her 7-year-old kid do just that, WPTV 5 reported.
