It's always a sad ceremony when someone passes away, and it's extra emotional when a service animal goes. K9 Officers put in a lot of work to learn to serve our community, and today, Vento, a fallen K9 was honored with "Last Call".

This afternoon, Kalamazoo Dispatch broadcast the last call for Comstock Fire Chief Ed Switalski, who was killed when hit by a car, while responding to a call on I-94. Hundreds of people were gathered for his service in Portage today when the Last Call was made.
