On Sunday Former President Donald Trump announced he will participate in a third presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
It was a huge event on September 18, 1981. Former Presidents, foreign leaders, and many celebrities were here for the dedication of the Ford Presidential Museum.

It started out as a normal Tuesday morning on September 11, 2001. The events that happened that day will never be forgotten. Most people can remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when the heard the news of the terrorist attacks on our country. This Friday marks 19 years since that day. In Grand Rapids, the West Michigan Community Day of Remembrance and Scout Salute committee will again hold their annual event honoring those killed in the attacks. This year the event will be virtual.
We have a few St. Patrick’s Day events this weekend along with LaughFest, Beer Month GR, the Women’s Expo, Hockey, Boxing, and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”. In addition, there are a couple of exhibits at the Gerald R. Ford Museum to check out and it’s a FREE day at the Grand Rapids Public Museum on Sunday.
