This Saturday is also Veteran's Day, a day to honor our friends and family that have served in the United States Armed Forces. The Veteran's Day Parade in downtown Grand Rapids will start at 11 am on Saturday.
Today, donors and members of the media were given a tour of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation’s progress on the construction of the nearly 8,000-square-foot DeVos Learning Center and the complete renovation of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, which closed its doors in October. The learning center and museum are scheduled to open in early June.
Following the conclusion of ArtPrize Seven, the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum will close for the next eight months.
WZZM-13 reports that crews will be installing new permanent interactive exhibits along with other renovations.
A "topping off ceremony" was held Monday to commemorate the laying of the last beam on the new DeVos Learning Center, which is set to be completed in Fall 201
