Before coming to the Gerald R. Ford Museum a few years ago, the whimsical train display had been bringing joy to generations of West Michiganders at the Breton Village Mall.

However, when the mall closed for remodeling and the holidays came and went with no train to enjoy, Clare Shubert, an educator on staff at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation, went on a mission to find the train a new home. You can watch the full story of the train's journey from mall to museum in the video below!

This will be the fourth year for the holiday train display at the Gerald R. Ford Museum and so, they are thinking it's time for new name!

Through its social media pages, the Gerald R. Ford Museum gathered suggestions from the community and have narrowed it down to their top four picks - and no, Trainy McTrainface is not an option...

Which do you like best?

A ) Express through Time: The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Train
B ) The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Junction
C ) The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Express
D ) Wolverine Express at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

They'll tally the votes this coming Thursday, November 18th at noon and then announce the winning name. Let them know what you think by commenting on the post below!

The display features different Grand Rapids landmarks, and over the past few years it's come to include many nods to Gerald R. Ford’s life in the area, including South High School, Bill’s Place diner, the Quonset hut used in his congressional campaign, and even a miniature version of the iconic statue that greets visitors outside of the Museum.

The holiday train will be on exhibit at Gerald R. Ford Museum Nov. 22 through Jan. 2, with special pricing while the train is on display.

Children 17 and under are free, while tickets for adults are $8.

All tickets will need to be purchased in advance online.
