In 2014, Zane bought his first RV. It was used, and was his first step into the world of the RV owner. Little did he know that he was going to become obsessed with it! He took RV driving classes, and then took his family on a trip in the thing.

At one point on vacation the Zane family climbed to the top of a lighthouse where man with a strange accent gave them the history lesson. Zane says he's "a ghost."

Zane revealed that he got a pillow from his wife for Valentine's Day. It was so out of the blue, and made no sense in the context of the conversation, that we compared it to the infamous "I like turtles" kid.

Over our vacation, Zane took the whole family out to Zion National Park in Utah in the RV he bought last year (the "Road to Freedom"). One of the highlights of the trip was hiking to the top of Angel's Landing, a rock formation that is approximately 6,000 feet tall.

About a year ago, our old, dingy studio was ripped apart and we moved into a fancy new studio with fancy new equipment. The centerpiece of the new studio was a new audio board that cost about a billion dollars and has a thousand or so buttons. Basically, it's the last place in the world that you'd want to spill a cup of coffee. On Friday morning, Zane did just that.

On the show this morning, Zane was telling us about how his son, Jim, wants to get a tattoo of his son's name on his forearm. Zane was trying to talk him out of it, saying that people would judge him down the road and that he may not get a job because of the tattoo placement. Now, this struck all of us as funny because of, well, how ridiculous Zane's tattoo is.

On the show today, while talking about an Alaska Airlines employee that was trapped in the cargo compartment of a plane, Producer Joe had a perfectly placed Cheech and Chong reference when he dropped the line "Dave's not here." The line was delivered right as Zane took a big gulp of coffee, resulting in a coffee spit-take that landed right on Zane's sound effects machine.
