Michigan's own Bob Ritchie, aka Kid Rock, found out the hard way as much of his band tested positive and he was forced to cancel an upcoming show.

Today Spectrum Health held an online update on Coronavirus case numbers in West Michigan and say that the standout numbers in the current surge are how many young people are becoming infected and that the unvaccinated make up the overwhelming majority of current cases and hospitalizations.

This morning parents in the Wayland Union School District were greeted by an app notification with a simple message, "Ignore It". The message then linked to the Public Health order issued on August 18th requiring masking for students in the district in grades K-6th.

KPS will hold a vaccine clinic for students and their families on Friday, the 27th
