Wayland came back home for a series of shows this past week, culminating in a fantastic charity event at Yankee Springs Golf Course, to raise money for the Wayland High School music program on Saturday night! The guys hit the stage with the same energy they always do, and the crowd gave it right back, singing along and having a great time all night, as Wayland ripped through a full set of songs. R

It seems as though the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge trend is finally winding down, after an insanely successful run over the past few weeks. MILLIONS of dollars have been raised for ALS, as nearly everyone you know and everyone they know have taken to dumping buckets of cold water over their heads and making donations to the ALS Association.

It's official. Everyone has now done the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. We did ours this week, following the trend of everyone dumping buckets of cold water on themselves to benefit ALS research.

After being challenged by many friends and co-workers, "The Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show" crew was finally able to get everyone together for our official ALS Ice Bucket Challenge video on Thursday.

This time last year, I was working at one of our company's stations in El Paso, TX, KLAQ.  Very similar station to WGRD, and a bunch of great people down there, too! The afternoon guy on KLAQ is this completely insane maniac named Scott Ronson, who sounds like you're having a conversation with a chainsaw.  That's really his voice.  He's a great guy, and funny as hell. This child from Scotland decided to get on the bandwagon and take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. She's only two years old, but that's not stopping her from helping to raise awareness for ALS.

Just like nearly everyone else on the planet, Lincoln Humphries, of Win News in Australia, was nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Humphries, though, didn't bite.

Wayland's show at the Intersection was fantastic!  The crowd was huge, the band was on fire, and everyone had such a great time! Thanks to everyone who came out to rock with Wayland!
