Brews and New Buddies! Hang Out with Alpacas at This Michigan Brewery This Summer
What's better than enjoying Michigan crafted brews outdoors in the summertime? Hanging out with alpacas while you do it!
I don't know about you, but I think alpacas are just about the cutest animals out there. Their expressions are a delight - they always look like their up to something!
Well, a Northern Michigan brewery is giving guests the opportunity to chill with alpacas! Stormcloud Brewing in Frankfort has teamed up with Crystal Lake Alpacas.
For a special twist on the traditional beer garden, they'll be hosting the alpacas from the farm every Friday 5-7pm, now through August 25 at their Parkview Taproom location.
The Parkview Taproom looks like a lot of fun! It's relatively new too -- Stormcloud's original location opened in downtown Frankfort in 2013.. In 2018, Stormcloud expanded brewing operations with the opening of Parkview Taproom, a nearly 13,000 square-foot production brewery, located on the east side of Frankfort near the gateway arch on M-115.
The brewery has 12 taps, indoor/outdoor seating, and an outdoor beer garden with space to host food trucks. There's also a large fenced-in lawn area where leashed pets are allowed.
Looks like Alpaca Fridays aren't the only fun thing happening at Stormcloud's Parkview Taproom. They've got live music going all summer long and in the fall they host pumpkin carving with pets!
