Starbucks Extends Free Coffee Offer for Frontline Workers Through May 31
Starbucks is continuing to offer free coffee to healthcare workers and first responders on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic.
The company originally said front line workers would receive a tall brewed coffee (hot or iced) at no charge through May 3. Starbucks has now extended that through the end of May.
Starbucks shared in a statement that since May 25, they have served more than 1 million cups of free coffee to front line workers.
Starbucks has said they hope to have 90 percent of locations open by early June. In a recent statement, the company said over the next days and weeks, when its safe to do so, "more Starbucks stores will be ready to serve customers in a range of ways."
