Stacked Sandwich Shop Opens in Downtown Newaygo

A new restaurant with the motto "crafted with love, stacked with flavor" has opened in West Michigan.

If you're craving a hearty sandwich or wrap made with fresh ingredients, head to Stacked - The Sandwich Shop at 42 W. State Road in downtown Newaygo. The new restaurant held its grand opening May 13.

What's On The Menu At Stacked in Newaygo?

Customers can build their own sandwich or order one of the shop’s signature creations. The Crosscut comes piled with ham, turkey, roast beef, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayo.

Another menu item, the Heavy Haul, featured smoked turkey, bacon jam, macaroni and cheese, melted cheddar, and BBQ sauce on toasted bread.

Wraps are also part of the lineup, including the Croton-Hardy wrap with chicken, provolone, lettuce, and Caesar dressing.

Sides include pasta salad, potato salad, mac and cheese, and kettle chips. For soup, there are currently three on the menu: French onion, chicken wild rice, and Italian wedding. As a French onion fanatic, I'm excited to try it!

Stacked also serves hand-scooped ice cream with more than 10 flavors, along with slushes and flavored lemonades for anyone looking for dessert after lunch.

One feature people will probably appreciate during the warmer months is the walk-up ordering window, making it easy to grab food on the go!

Customers can also turn any sandwich or wrap into a combo by adding chips and a drink for $2.99, and the cold deli case offers ready-to-go bites for anyone in a hurry.

Early reviews of Stacked - The Sandwich Shop have been positive so far, with customers complimenting both the food and customer service.

According to the shop, the goal is simple: fresh, made-to-order sandwiches paired with quality ingredients and friendly service for a quick lunch, sweet treat, or both.

The deli is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant is closed Mondays.
