Sometimes a birth is meticulously planned, but other times the baby has different plans. The latter happened to a couple this summer when their baby boy Forrest decided he was ready to arrive way before they could arrive at the hospital. So, they did what any family would do in that situation: they pulled into a brewery parking lot and gave birth in the car.

One Well Brewing suddenly found itself dealing with a kind of delivery it wasn't used to, but the birth was a success and they even named their son after the brewery (Forrest Wells Baker). Now the brewery is returning the favor by naming a special brew in his honor.

Special New Brew

It's a tradition for One Well Brewing to release a new brew every Friday, but this week's brew is extra special because it was brought to life by the parents who brought life to their brewery months before.

The Brew, fittingly titled Special Delivery, is a Blood Orange Blonde 5.5% ABV that "fate brewed". The Baker family was on site on Friday to take a toast with customers who were there to celebrate the brew and baby Forrest's safe and unique entry into the world.
