An early spring clipper will bring snowfall late Thursday into Friday morning, with the Kalamazoo area looking at one to three inches.

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids is warning drivers to prepare for an icy and slippery start to the weekend, as a band of snow showers will greet the Friday morning commute.

While the Greater Grand Rapids metro will pick up any where from a dusting to an inch of now, south of town toward Wayland onto Kalamazoo and the Indiana border will pick up a lot more.

Branch County, near Coldwater, is forecasting 3-4 inches of snow, while the South Bend area in Indiana could see 4-6 inches of the white stuff.
