Some of the people involved in the rioting in downtown Grand Rapids on Saturday night are starting to face charges.

On Monday, 18 year old Adrian Baker of Gobles was formally charged with riot and larceny charges for allegedly breaking into the Biggby Coffee shop on Monroe Center. Today a second person will be charged. WOOD TV-8 is reporting that "Alexandria Lyons, 22, of Grandville, faces one count of inciting a riot and one count of malicious destruction of property. She is accused of encouraging the destruction of windows at 82 Ionia Avenue, which houses the Kent County Prosecutor’s Office."

The Grand Rapids Police Department has set up a portal for help in identifying the individuals who were out vandalizing our city over the weekend. You can submit your pictures and videos. Information has been pouring in, but they are still asking anyone with information to submit those details.

Silent Observer in Kent County is offering rewards starting at $200 for information that leads to these people. You can anonymously leave information on criminal behavior through their web site or by calling them at (616) 774-2345.

Silent Observer’s reward offers only applies to information provided through their systems.

Silent Observer is a non-profit organization dedicated to public safety. They have been around since 1972 and remain committed to their mission to solve and prevent serious crime in the Greater Grand Rapids area in partnership with citizens, the media, and law enforcement.

With Silent Observer you can submit your tips and information without having to provide a name. Many times people have information they'd like to share, but they worry about their name being released. Silent Observer makes sure you remain anonymous.
