I don't know the deal with everyone wanting to rename bodies of water, but now someone has suggested renaming Lake Michigan to the 'Sea of Michigan.'

This all started with an idea that didn't make groceries, gas, auto/home insurance, or health insurance cheaper when President Trump wanted the Gulf of Mexico to be renamed the Gulf of America.

Then, Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois suggested renaming Lake Michigan to Lake Illinois. This may have been a joke, but still as dumb as renaming the Gulf of Mexico. Renaming bodies of water doesn't create jobs or lower prices.
