Robotic Servers Could Be Coming To A Restaurant Near You

The National Restaurant Association is meeting soon to talk about innovations in the restaurant biz, including replacing servers someday with robots!

Okay, so maybe they claim they won't replace servers and just make their jobs easier but that seems to us like something a robot trying to take over and replace the human race would say...

"Penny" the robotic server would simply run food to customers so waitstaff can focus on real customer interactions and relationships and kitchen staff can focus more on being innovative.

Also part of the automated system will not only be the ability to order on tablets but also a 3D printer in the back to make little treats.

This doesn't sound horrifying at all, right? Maybe it sounds wonderful...who knows! To us, it sounds like a nightmare.
