There is a massive recall that is happening right before the new year with Ford and their pick up trucks. According to WILX, Ford is recalling about 410,000 F-Series pickup trucks with a problem that is happening in the engine block heaters. The recall is to get these trucks fixed as the engine block heater could catch fire or cause injury to the driver.

The recall covers certain F-150s but from certain years as it affects models from 2015 through 2019. The recall also covers certain F-250, 350, 450 and 550 models from 2017 through 2019. According to Ford they says that water and other things can get into the heater cable and cause the damage as well as a fire. There have been a few reports of fires from the vehicles, in Canada but not in the U.S. In addition, Ford will start to fix this recall Jan 7th, so if you have this truck please be aware as it is one of the most owned trucks.
