Frozen Beef Recall Issued For Over 1,000 Pounds In Ada
According to Fox 17, Michigan's Ada Valley Meat Company has recalled just over 1,000 pounds of fully cooked frozen ground beef that may be contaminated with metal pieces. The good news is that Ada Valley has provided product information that informs the public of what box and lot codes to look for.
Recalled Fully Cooked Ground Beef Package Details:
- Packed May 28 and 30, 2025
- Look for 10031 inside the USDA mark of inspection
- 20 lbs cardboard box cases containing four 5 lbs bags
- Lot codes - 35156 and 35157

A customer notified the Department of Agriculture's Food and Safety Inspection Service about metal pieces found in frozen cooked ground beef. If you have the meat in your freezer, either return it to the point of purchase or throw it away.
