UPDATE: Michigan State Police say Raymundo Garcia has been found and is safe.

A Lansing man is missing after a late-night crash on I-94 in Calhoun County, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

According to the Michigan State Police, 53-year-old Raymundo Garcia went off I-94 near 15 Mile Road around 10:45 p.m. Monday. When troopers from the Marshall Post arrived, his truck was at the scene—but Garcia himself was gone. Officials say he may have been injured.

Troopers, along with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, local fire departments, and medical teams, immediately began searching the surrounding area. They also checked nearby businesses, gas stations, and hotels, but so far, no sign of Garcia has been found.

Family, friends, and coworkers have been contacted, but authorities have not been able to locate him. The case is now being treated as a missing person investigation.

Garcia is described as 5’10”, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head.

Michigan State Police are asking anyone who may have seen Garcia, or has information about where he might be, to contact the Marshall Post at 269-558-0500 or Calhoun County Consolidated Dispatch at 269-781-0911.

The search is ongoing, so travelers in that are of West Michigan and and local residents should stay alert and contact law enforcement if they spot any thing unusual.
