Texas is freezing!!! The cold air makes it painful to step off the bus! WOW! Everyone always says that we should be used to cold weather, being from Michigan, but it's something I've never gotten used to. There's no coincidence in the fact that we route our tours down South in the winter! Ha ha!

This morning, on the way out of Dallas, we drove by the famous grassy knoll, and the spot where President Kennedy was shot at. We all love American history, so it was really cool to be there.

It's been a long drive to Lubbock today.

We'll head right into the radio station as soon as we get into town to perform acoustic on the air with Mike Driver, then over to the venue. Wish us luck on our first time in Lubbock, home of Buddy Holly and Bobby Keyes (sax player for the The Rolling Stones)

We have no idea where we're going to park the bus tonight, or where we'll shower in the morning. Let's just hope the Gods of Rock are smiling down on us! It's a seven-hour drive to El Paso tomorrow, so we might drive a few hours tonight.

We just stopped at Subway, where I had a 6-inch veggie (no cheese. of course).

Today, we hit the jackpot with the fresh bread at Subway. Other days the bread could've been made a week before you showed up. It's just one of those risks you take on the road; ha ha!
