NBC’s Odd Thanksgiving Game Promo, Featuring Joe Theismann And Sex Offender Lawrence Taylor

During last night's Eagles/Cowboys game, NBC aired a promo featuring Lawrence Taylor and Joe Theismann to promote the upcoming Thanksgiving Day game between the Giants and the Redskins.

Just in case you forgot, Taylor is a registered sex offender, because he was caught having sex with a 16-year-old prostitute. The prostitute had been beaten by her pimp in order to get her to go through with it. So yeah, Taylor is a real stand-up guy.

Theismann is in the commercial because Taylor is the one who ended his career back in 1985, with the hit that snapped his leg in half on Monday Night Football. It's kind of hard to believe that he'd agree to be in the commercial after the whole sex offender news about Taylor, but alas, there he is!
