Help Name West Michigan Wild Animal Park’s Baby Giraffes
There will be some adorable new additions when a local wild animal park opens up later this week: two baby giraffes! And you can help name them!
In January we told you about "the early Christmas miracle" at Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park in Alto. A few days before Christmas, the park welcomed a baby giraffe.

She was born at approximately 6 feet tall and 100 pounds. Can you even believe how cute she is? Well, double that, because later we found out another baby giraffe was born! Now the park is asking for input on their names.

When Does Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park Open?
Giraffes aren't the only newer faces as last summer Boulder Ridge welcomed its first apes, a pair of white handed gibbons.
All in all, the 80 acre park is home to more than 460 mammals, 800 birds, and 130 reptiles! Other animals include antelope, bison, pygmy hippo, rhinoceros, lemur, squirrel monkey, sloth, kangaroo, prairie dog, lynx, bobcat, and otter.
Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park will be open for Spring Break April 4 through April 13. After that the park will be open weekends in April, aside from Easter Sunday. May 1, the park will fully open for the season. Keep in mind, if the weather is cold, some of the animals might not be out.
