Mysterious ‘Meat Scraps’ Close West Michigan Roadway
Well, here's a new one. 8th Avenue in Ottawa County was closed Monday morning due to hundreds of pounds of "meat scraps" scattered over the roadway...
Authorities were notified as motorists slipped and skidded on hot dogs, sausages, and ground meat.
Wood TV 8 reports that 8th Avenue north of M-6 was closed for hours as crews cleaned. Firefighters could be seen spraying down the road with their hoses and big bulldozers scraping up debris.
The strangest part? No one knows where all that meat came from.
Ottawa County authorities would like to find the person responsible for the meaty mess.
