Muskegon’s Getty Drive-In to Open For the Season April 20

Warmer weather should (finally!) be returning to West Michigan and that means the return of drive-in movies! Muskegon's Getty Drive-In is set to open for the season this Friday, April 20, 2018.

The Getty, owned by Celebration! Cinema, is one of only nine drive-in theaters remaining in Michigan.

The opening weekend lineup is solid, too.

• "A Quiet Place" (PG-13) followed by "Annihilation" (R)
• "Super Troopers 2" ( R) followed by "Super Troopers" ( R)
• "Rampage" (PG-13) followed by "Tomb Raider" (PG-13)
• "Black Panther" (PG-13) followed by "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" (PG-13)

Gates open at 8p.m., and the first movies start shortly after sunset. Starting time on Getty's website lists 8:35p.m.

This summer adults prices are $10.50, kids 6-12 are $5.50, kids 5 and under are free. Tuesday bargain: adults $7, kids 6-12 are $5.

While the theater does have concessions, you're allowed to bring in your own food too!
