Muskegon Restaurant, Rooftop Bar to Reopen Under New Ownership
There's a new option for dinner and drinks coming to downtown Muskegon.
Formerly Tipsy Toad Tavern, No Name Saloon will soon open at 609 W. Western Ave. According to MLive, Mike Kordecki bought the restaurant in mid-April. It's now part of the Hometown Hospitality Group which also includes includes Smash Wine Bar, Marine Tap Room, Full Moon Diner, Pub 111, The Humidor, and Whitehall Landing.
The space includes indoor dinging and a rooftop bar overlooking Muskegon Lake and Heritage Landing. No Name Saloon plans to host live music at the rooftop bar on Sunday nights.
Kordecki has freshened up the place with minor renovations and paint, upgraded the kitchen, and expanded the bar to include 16 taps, MLive reports.
The menu will focus on specialty burgers and saloon-themed cocktails. General Manager April Fairchild tells MLive,
I wanted it to be not too fancy but not bar food either. You can get some specialty burgers, but you can come here and just get your plain cheeseburger. I wanted something that downtown Muskegon doesn’t really have.
No Name Saloon plans to open for business May 21. Follow No Name Saloon on Facebook for updates.
