It's officially official says Michigan's official Pot Agency!  A date has finally been set for businesses to start applying for licenses to sell recreational marijuana!  Starting on November 1st, you can apply for your very own license to sell pot.

That doesn't mean that you will be able to buy pot legally in November, December, or maybe even January of 2020.  It will take time for the applications to be approved, for the business to deal with local laws, and to open a storefront.

One can hope that the application process will be expedited because it will have been 12 months since legalization, but since it involves the government, it probably will take forever.

In addition to the announcement, Michigan's Marijuana Regulatory Agency also released "emergency rules" for businesses who plan on selling recreational marijuana.  These "emergency rules" are nothing more than guidelines on how and where pot can be sold.
