Michigan Restaurant Crowned Among 20 Best Steakhouses in North America
Move over, New York and Chicago: A Michigan steakhouse is now being recognized as an international powerhouse, landing a top-20 ranking in North America.
The list comes from World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, published by London-based Upper Cut Media House. While the organization publishes a global ranking of 101 top steakhouses worldwide, they also release a separate North America-only list.
Restaurants are judged on nine key factors, including the quality and variety of meat, aging and preparation methods, service expertise, wine selection, ambiance, and reservation experience.

After visits and tastings by experienced “Steak Ambassadors,” one Detroit restaurant earned national recognition, ranking No. 20 among the best steakhouses in North America. No stranger to recognition, the restaurant has previously been named the best in Michigan by The Daily Meal and Taste of Home.
