I have to be honest I have never seen a ghost or been in one's presence that I know of. All my encounters turned out to be a mouse knocking something over in the kitchen. I used to think I saw something at my parent's house looking around the corner into the living room but I stared at the location for a while and noticed it was just a glare from the TV repeatedly. That doesn't mean there are no ghosts because there have been nearly 3,000 reported sightings all across Michigan.

Michigan is near the top of the list for ghost hunters to visit looking to find something from the afterlife roaming around.

According to Bet Michigan, which used data that was compiled from Ghosts of America, there have been 2,759 reported ghost sightings in Michigan ranking the state number 4 with sightings in the U.S. Illinois came in at number 5 with 2,584, and Ohio came in at number 3 with 2,948. There are two states that have had considerably more reported ghost sightings.

California came in at number two in reported ghost sightings with 7,184 but the number one state turned out to be Texas with 7,517. I wonder if the ghosts are bigger in Texas also?
