Set within 15 acres of sprawling gardens, the English Inn is more than a restaurant, pub, and hotel - it's also the historic Medovue Estate of Irving and Janet Reuter.

Irving was the president and general manager of Oldsmobile. The estate was completed in 1927. After several different owners, including the Catholic Church, the property was converted into an inn in 1989. In 1991 it became a state registered historic site.

The dining room at the English Inn is truly memorable, with wood paneling, richly-colored fabrics, and a roaring fire.
