Michigan Man Arrested After Hurling Racial Slurs at Children
It seems this country takes two steps forward and then 20 backward. A Michigan man has been arrested for allegedly hurling racial slurs at innocent children.
Why Are We Going Backwards?
Michigan and the entire United States are made up of cultures from around the world. This country was settled and built by people of all ethnicities but they were not always treated as equals.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 became law thanks to the work of Martin Luther King, his supporters, and President Lyndon B. Johnson. The Civil Rights Act prohibited discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
The Voting Rights Act of 1965, outlawed discriminatory voting rights and the Fair Housing Act of 1968 banned housing discrimination. All three of these bills were the right steps forward for equality for all in America. I grew up after these bills were in place and slowly witnessed the change but seems that 12 years ago the country has been moving backward when it comes to civil rights, and voter suppression, and I'm not sure the Fair Housing Act has been fair as it was meant to be.

I don't think drugs or alcohol are an excuse for this kind of behavior.
Officers deal with a lot and we thank them.
I hope this poster gets their wish.
