Michigan Fans Are Rooting For This Instead Of Notre-Dame or Ohio State
One year after the Michigan Wolverines celebrate winning the College Football Championship, Wolverines football is in a different spot than last year. The team, in its first season under new head coach Sheron Moore, the team had an anti-climatic follow-up that saw them finish 7th in the BIG10 and only have one notable regular season win against Ohio State.

Then, the team upset Alabama in a bowl game. Not bad for an "off" season of Wolverines football. However, their rival Ohio State is not in the College Football Championship game against another long-time rival, Notre Dame, and fans have come up with a creative solution of who (or rather what) to root for: a meteor.

A meteor? Huh?
Yes, you read that correctly. In typical rivalry fashion, Wolverines fans are refusing to support the Notre Dame Fighting Irish or the Ohio State Buckeyes, and instead have come up with a creative third option as to what fans should root for: a meteor falling from the sky, taking out both of their rivals at once.

Usually when your rival is in a game you root for the other team, but when the other team is also a rival, you'll root for just about anything.
It's not a terrible plan, admittedly. It's pretty humourous how even when the Wolverines aren't playing against the Buckeyes, fans find ways to take digs at the team and its fanbase. With Michigan not playing in the CFP, fans have been able to go to other sporting events, like the WWE where this fan reminded everyone watching on Monday Night Raw who was in charge.
Even though the Buckeyes have had a more successful season, Wolverines fans don't shy away from letting OSU know who won the head-to-head. You can root for a meteor impact during the Championship game tonight at 7:30 p.m.
