Car Crashes Into the Meijer in Cascade
I'm sure when the Meijer corporation thinks about crashes and their name, they probably prefer it be their NASCAR versus a car driving into one of its stores.
According to WOOD, at around 9:30 a.m., a car crashed into the Cascade Township Meijer. That is a heck of a way to get to the customer service desk. Can you imagine if you were shopping for a gift card at the time?
The Kent County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened when a 29-year-old man suffered from a medical episode that led to the crash.
Unfortunately, four people suffered minor injuries during the crash. There is no word if those injured were passengers in the car, shoppers, or Meijer employees. The car has since been removed from the Meijer by a wrecker and firefighters.
