McFadden's in downtown Grand Rapids is closing its doors Jan. 30 to make way for The Waldron Public House

The new restaurant, pub, and nightclub from owners BarFly Ventures LLC opens Feb. 13 at 11a.m. Wood TV8 reports.

The first 50 guests will get free VIP ticket to  Irish on Ionia on March 19, 2016; The second 50 guests will receive a general admission ticket to the event.

BarFly Ventures owner Mark Sellers told MLive/ The Grand Rapids Press, "McFadden's had a great run but is getting a little long in the tooth...instead of just refreshing its look, we decided on a whole new concept."

BarFly Ventures also owns GR's HopCat, Stella's Lounge and Grand Rapids Brewing Co.

The menu for the The Waldron Public House will feature an eclectic menu that includes unique takes on pub fare, such as a Lamb Butter Burger, Tandoori Chicken Sliders, Bangers & Mac and Waldron Mushroom Pie.

The new restaurant will also have European and American craft beers, a cocktail menu, a late-night dance floor, and private event spaces.
