A man who was being arrested resisted in a grandiose way allegedly biting the tip off the arresting officer's finger and then spitting it out like it ain't no thang.

Some Criminals Have No Problem Biting

Normally when you hear about a criminal and some biting is going on, it's usually a police dog that is doing the biting.

My best friend used to work at a prison located in Detroit that held level 5 prisoners. These are maximum security prisoners. These are similar to the movie "Silence of the Lambs" where the main character Hannibal Lector would eat parts of his victims. My friend said some prisoners would bite the nose or ear off a guard if they had the chance. Needless to say, my friend moved to a minimum security prison in Michigan's Upper Peninsula to avoid losing a piece of him just for doing his job.

Man Bites Off Tip of Officers Finger Then Spits it Out

It is never a good idea to resist an arrest because nothing good ever comes from it. A man allegedly bit the tip of an arresting officer's finger completely off when police had to step in on the deranged man to prevent him from striking a woman.

According to WOOD, 48-year-old Tyron Brooks was allegedly standing over a woman in fear and yelling erratically when officers arrived on the scene. Officers directed the man to move away from the woman which he did not and they moved in for the arrest. During the scuffle, Brooks allegedly bit the tip of the ring finger off of one of the officers and then spit it out on the sidewalk.  Brooks is being held for second-degree assault on a peace officer. No word if the tip of the finger was able to be reattached to the officer.
