Kid Wins Icee Drinking Contest But Is Immediately Overwhelmed By An Awful Brain Freeze

The reason we really like minor league sports is because of contests like this one.

At a recent Memphis Redbirds game, a contest was held in between innings to see who could chug an Icee (a Slurpee knock-off) the fastest.  A blonde-haired kid, who bears a striking resemblance to our former intern Zach, came out on top, showing off some seriously impressive straw-sucking skill.  Unfortunately for little Zach, though, he quickly learned of the dangers of the dreaded brain freeze!

Hopefully he at least got a cool prize for his victory.  But if it's like most of these contests, it was probably a XXL t-shirt with a bank logo on it or something.  Well done, kid.
