Kid Rock Makes Surprise Visit to GM’s Flint Assembly Plant

Kid Rock sure does love his home state of Michigan: In August he's playing 10 shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston!

MLive reports that Kid Rock just popped in to a General Motor's plant in Flint for a surprise visit Wednesday morning!

Apparently the Romeo, Mich., rocker owns a Flint-made truck and wanted to tour the facility

Flint Assembly currently builds the Chevrolet Silverado LD and HD and the GMC Sierra HD.

GM Spokesman Tom Wickham told MLive,

"He toured the plant, walked the final line and actually drove a truck off the line. He actually has a Flint truck and he wanted to see the trucks being built."
