I was born and raised in Grand Rapids and had no idea people were so passionate about these things until recently.

Abott's Meats has long been known as the champion of the Flint-style coney sauce. Still, with the announcement that the meat company would be closing its doors after 100 years in business, Koegel's was quick to fill the potential gap in coney sauce, announcing earlier this year that it would start producing a new coney sauce.
