Attendees of a West Michigan festival witnessed an impressive rescue over the weekend!

Nine baby ducks got themselves trapped under a storm grate at Kalamazoo Pride at the Arcadia Creek Festival Site on Saturday, June 3.

The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety shares that officers headed out once they received the call about the trapped ducklings.

Once on the scene, officers rappelled down to the ducklings and were able to save all 9!

The little ones were then taken to an animal sanctuary with the intent to return to their mother as soon as possible.

Liz O. shared an update in to KDPS' Facebook post, saying the ducklings are currently at All Creatures Deserving and are doing great!
