Grand Rapids Police Ask for Help Identifying Person of Interest in Assault Case

The Grand Rapids Police Department is asking for help identifying a person of interest in an assault case from July.
According to GRPD, on July 27, 2023 an assault occurred in the 900 block of Michigan St NE. The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police are asking for the community’s help to identify a person of interest in this case.
The person of interest appears to be a male with a long gray beard.
He was driving the black Chevy Tahoe pictured.
While GRPD did not disclose the location of the incident, a surveillance photo appears to be from inside a party store.
