I have worked in the same career for 30 years and in each of those years there has always been some giving back to the community. Whether it was a food drive, coat drive, blood drive, money drive, or whatever the cause it was very gratifying knowing that I and others could make a positive difference in someone else's life.

I have always preferred helping those in the community I live and work in. That is exactly what an auto repair shop in Muskegon did.

Joe's Auto Repair Shop Donates Car to Muskegon Family

Joe's Service Station in Muskegon finished its year strong. Not just because it helped many families keep their vehicles on the road in 2022, but changing the life of one Muskegon family in need right at year's end.

According to WZZM, Joe's Service Station is the main organizer of the Wheels for Christmas giveaway. Joe's Service Station along with some help from Advanced Auto Parts was able to fix up a black Chevrolet Equinox and present it to a needy family in Muskegon.

Wheels for Christmas is where families who need a vehicle get nominated by others and one family gets selected to win a car. This is a great charity that is truly impacting someone's life.

Who Won the Wheels for Christmas Giveaway?

WZZM reported that Elizabeth Miller was the recipient of the Wheels for Christmas giveaway.

Miller is a single mother of three and has been without a vehicle for quite some time was surprised to tears when the people at Joe's Service Station told her the vehicle was hers. That is doing some good work right there.
