Wholesale retailer Costco has expanded its listeria outbreak. However, that is not all.

The retailer also recalled another product from its shelves.

No more salmon for you!

Costco is recalling the Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon due to possible listeria contamination concerns.

The Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon that was sold from October 9th to the 13th was added to the recall that was previously announced to Michigan and nationwide Costco members.

The notice signed by CEO Eduardo Carbajosa states that,

"With an abundance of caution, Acme Smoked Fish Corp. has initiated a voluntary recall on certain packages of Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. We regret this unfortunate incident and have taken immediate corrective steps to ensure that this issue never happens again."

If you have bought any of the Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon, the affected products will contain this LOT number: 8512801270.

Michigan customers are urged to not eat the smoked salmon. You should return it to your local Costco location for a full refund.
