13 Must-See Rock Concerts Coming to Grand Rapids in 2024

From Pantera to Greta Van Fleet, 2024 is off to a solid start.

Grand Rapids has a lot to offer when it comes to live music. You'll find some of the best venues in the state that are worth checking out including Van Andel Arena, The Intersection, and GLC Live at 20 Monroe Live.

Upheaval Festival - Grand Rapids

Before we take a look at the rock concerts announced so far, let's take a look at the biggest rock festival in Michigan...Upheaval.

Upheaval takes place every July in Grand Rapids with two back-to-back days of live music from some of the biggest names in rock and plenty that are on the rise.

Upheaval 2024 will take place July 19 and 20 at Belknap Park.

The full lineup hasn't been announced yet but bands keep getting announced every day.

So far Upheaval looks like this:

July 19 - Godsmack, Ayron Jones, Sick Century, Sinshrift, A Sense of Purpose, Final Confession.

July 20 - Beartooth, Badflower, From Ashes to New, Otvlier, Splinters, Southbound Beretta, As We Divide, Dead7, I See Stars.

If you don't live in the area, well, now you have a reason to take a road trip to the west side of the state. Not that you needed a reason to visit one of the greatest cities in Michigan. With the nickname "Beer City", you really can't go wrong.

The list below doesn't include every rock and metal show that is coming to Grand Rapids in 2024 but these are the ones we think you need to know about.
